"Stick It To 'Em" With Funny Bumper Stickers!

Jeep Bumper Stickers

Jeep owners are a breed apart! I recall my first ride in a Jeep - some neighbors were headed to a local gravel pit to prove their manhood (or meet their Maker - to this day I'm not sure). This was a classic open-cab jeep, with a roll bar. I don't rmember if it had a bumper sticker or not, but it should have had one that read, "I don't suffer from insanity - I enjoy it."

We piled in and headed off for our destination. Once there, the driver pointed the Jeep at a *vertical* wall, ordered us to hang on, and floored the gas pedal. I crossed myself, though I'm not a Catholic, and tried to make my life flash before my eyes. The only thing I saw was the approaching wall of dirt, sand and gravel.

You know, it's funny - that's all I remember! Maybe I'm writing this from heaven (or somewhere else!) and the horror of my death now eludes me, I don't know. I just can't remember what happened - did we make it up the "hill", flip over backward or what?

Maybe you've seen the jeep bumper sticker (attached upside down) that says, "If you can read this, flip me over." I met the guy that inspired that bumper sticker. And he wasn't trying to be funny, it's just hard to charge up vertical inclines when you're upside down.

We hereby dedicate this Jeep bumper sticker to his memory:

Actually, he may still be alive, I just said that for effect. But ya gotta wonder.

Now to put this into perspective, I used to race motorcycles. I competed in what is called "flat track" or oval track racing. It's very different than motocross in that the track is kept as smooth as possible, being graded with a road-grader a couple of times during a night's racing. I raced on a quarter-mile oval in the 250cc class and most of my friends thought I'd lost my mind. I still get an adrenaline rush thinking about going hot into a nicely banked corner and pitching my Yamaha sideways in a classic "powerslide." Two-wheel drifts were even more exciting. The ambulance crew got to know me by first name (I introduced myself upon waking).

Then I went Jeeping. Now these guys are *truly* nuts. Well, I shouldn't says "guys" because there's lady Jeep drivers too. That's necessitated making a few Jeep bumper sticker designs for them as well:

Of course, not all Jeep owners aim at vertical walls when they drive their Jeeps. Whatever the case, we wanted to provide Jeep lovers with a variety of bumper stickers so that they could proudly display their love for their vehicles.

If you didn't find the Jeep bumper stickers you were looking for, suggest one to us. We've provided the "Suggest-a-Sticker" feature on our web site for just this purpose..
